Design: The assault pack is designed to give you the Soldier with a medium-sized container for shorter-duration patrols. According to US army military surplus MOLLE ii rifleman set.
Comfort to Wear: Padded adustable quick ditch shoulder straps with sternum strap and low profile waist belt, removeable plastic board sheet along side soft foam for back panel. Heave duty carry and drag maintain.
Bear and Load: It provides 1,525 cubic inches of space in the main compartment and 825 cubic inches of space in the large front packet. It carries 60 pounds and can also be easily donned and doffed over the FLC and/or TAP. Four compression straps allow more space extend of MOLLE pouches attachment. User name tag pocket on back.
It’s accessible through the top with a slide fastenerand has a flap covering the opening that provides water resistance.Tube exit hole on top of bag part makes hydration pack compatible (2L/3L bladder), meanwhile it has means of allowing water to drain out.
The pack has two, 30-inch lengths of Type VIII webbing for direct attachment to the parachutist snaphook, for integration with body of workers parachute harnesses, along with having a sewn-in, loweringline attachment point. The assault pack could also be worn by itself or could also be attached to the pack frame on top of the large field pack.
